Long before Alliance was the Rebel Alliance, and before the Rebels were still the strong Galactic Republic there was something more. Wars broke out all around, there was no peace. The Sith's influence reached out far and wide. A king with a weak constitution found strength in their ways. His down the Darkside found him many enemies, but none could best him. It was not till later on that he was finally driven away from his castle, and died of unknown cause on the planet of Dxun. Many centuries later the Sith would build a temple to one of their greatest Dark Lords. The moon is covered in darkness, it whispers out to those who can feel the culling of it's power. Enter all who dare the darkest of jungles. The planet is a deep green as your ship approaches the moon. You know you've found wherever it was that's been pulling you. You may not understand why you are here, but you know that you are in the right place.

He couldn't still believe he was allowed to leave the Ascendancy space for this fool's errand. But he felt like he had to do it. The dreams were becoming too annoying to ignore and the worst thing was, that he felt like this is the right thing to do! He was trained to trust his instincts, but not like this. This was deeper... which was unsettling. Jumping in the hyperspace led only by your instincts was positively idiotic, at least that was what he thought before his ship approached a lush green world. He instantly knew that was what he searched for... but didn't know why. His ship landed on a small clearing, barely big enough to fit his patrol craft. The jungle seemed dark and unwelcoming... but Elim had a jungle training and a blaster so hopefully. If he is careful hopefully he would be ok. Once he finally landed he looked at the scanners. He was scanning continually since he arrived... hopefully there will be some answers...

While the clearing was just large enough for the ship to land, it was made apparent by scanners that three clearings existed. To the west of the new comer was a clearing nearby, then to the south was a farther one and much larger, while to the east was an even further clearing but it was the smallest of them all. The Chiss would find, though that it would not be so easy to just walk to any of these. The jungle ahead was dense, and it's canopy thick enough to create a sort of night effect within. There was no apparent path leading to these paths, and nothing indicating what was in these clearings. Noises from a waterfall came from the east, and the added chirps and croaks of animals filled the air. What was worse, it almost seemed it was just the entire planet was giving a SOS beacon to the Chiss. Possibly, this could have been overwhelming.

Elim felt a bit stupid. It almost seemed like a death trap, but since he was already here he felt there is no coming back. Not to mention he would appear really stupid, if he return without the answers that he sought. There were a lot of tools in his ship, but unfortunately there was no machete. He took some vibroknife, that might be useful to cut some of the canopy. His wrist communicator was connected to the ship computer, so he should be able to find his way back if he got lost, which almost seemed like an assured thing than a possibility. He will just have to move carefully. For now he wanted to avoid the waterfall, since water usually attracted big creatures. His blaster was good enough to penetrate a basic combat armor, but some beasts he knew about needed an RPG to be killed. He decided to search nearest clearing in the west...

Heading towards the west, the Chiss would find that the vibroknife worked well on most of the thinner shrubs and branches in his way. The jungle here also did not keep his communicator from being scrambled, the further he moved away from the ship, the Chiss still had it's location locked. Sounds began less heavy as he made his way towards the west as well, indicating less lifeforms in this area. There was, however, a fork in his path. Two natural clearings laid before the Chiss. Would he take left, or right?

There were a lot of memories coming alive about his jungle training. Not good memories and hopefully he won't need them. Most of them was about long term survival and somehow he hoped he won't get stuck here for a long time. Yet he was following some trail... could be hunting trail or did someone live here? Only one way to find out. He chose to go left, letting himself to be led by instincts, nothing more. Perhaps he should've asked for a few guards... let's say fifty...

The left side was brighter the further the Chiss went down this path, indicating the best course of sight in all directions. It had become almost quiet now as the Chiss went deeper into this path. Guards would have been nice, but the path became narrow finally ending with an opening. Before the Chiss was something amazing, something like a valley was before him with a large makeshift metal wall closing off a section. It was covered in rust and moss, vines crept in and out of the spaces between each wall link.
It was clear this was an ancient base of some sorts, built strong, but even time eroded most things to an extent. A metal gate hung ajar, inviting any and all who wished to enter freely. The Chiss could investigate, or go back. For who put this base here so long ago?

This was very strange. The surrounding jungle was quiet. Too quiet. And soon he knew why - he found some sort of base. It was build to last, but it had to be ancient. Whoever build it left it eons ago and whatever it's purpose even the wildlife seemed to avoid it. Elim chose to investigate, after all this could be the reason why he was here? The fact that this place looked dead didn't mean it was... there could be mines, droids, turrets and more. His wrist computer had limited scanning ability, but it was also a very short ranged. Hopefully it will warn him from imminent dangers. With his blaster drawn he entered the compound....

Entering further into the valley, cavernous natural walls of rock surrounded the area, unless one had gotten onto of the mountains around it, there was only one way to attack this base. As one further reached the gate, there was a pole with a very tattered flag with a certain kind of symbol on it, bu the symbol was worn out and mostly gone. Just a few black lines that indicated that at one point, this meant something.
On the right, when entering past the gate there was a single building with what looked like three generators of the powering sort on top of its roof, or maybe jutting out of the roof. More vines and various other planet life had taken over most of the building, but there was a clear way in.
A bit further beyond that, to the left, was a much larger building, and beyond that to the right was two very large warehouses and a smaller building next to it. Three walls helped protect those warehouses, from here, there was clear indication on how to get beyond them, but there must be a way.
Of course, these two buildings are ready to be search now.

The compound was not only built to last, but also to withstand a fullblown invasion. With a powerful shield to protect it from bombardment it could easily repelled thousands of soldiers. But now it seemed abandoned. The deteriorating flag told him nothing. He was trying to spot some other markings that could tell him more. There were several buildings he could search, but before doing that he tried to spot some clues of what happened here or who lived here. Only after that did he chose to enter the largest building. It seemed it could be some sort of headquarters, and he could possibly learn more there.
