Why it was clear that something happened, it could have been anything, but a super weapon was no far fetched as Elim said. The Galactic Empire once used such things, but Ashen wasn't sure there was public records of the Alliance or Old Republic doing so. He believed it was possible. "I'm just messing with you. Clearly you think for yourself. You put that captain in his place. Makings a true leader, I'd say." Ashen made his way back to his seat and sat down. He watched out the view point, more so just to lose himself. "But yeah, I guess your right. Could be worse, I guess."

"Whatever it was it came quickly and without warning. Otherwise there would be a tun of information readily available. But since that is not a case it seems everyone was too busy saving what could be saved to care about the reason "why". At least not right away." he added. It was a conjecture, but he felt it was obvious. "Critical thinking and analysing a situation is critical for a pilot. Otherwise I might have accidentally vaporise the slaver ship to a space dust. Fortunately I noticed your weak signal... " he said like he wasn't just talking about his life. "And yes, it could've been worse... we are still alive. And it seems to be going better..." at least with the Ascendancy.

Soft chuckles were released from Ashen as he thought about this. He stretched his back, going much further backwards then he suspected was the normal as he contorted his body stretch out other muscles walking could not accomplish. "You're not wrong there. It does seem to be getting better." He said with a hint of strain as his body came back to a normal posture. "Ya know, I've never met another human who can twist like that. Feels great on the spine and rips to stretch. Helps blood flow and the such." Ashen leaned forward to check their distance traveled. "Almost there. Got any friends here?"

"Hopefully it will continue to get better... from what little I heard about the core things are getting just good enough to engage in some terrible war." he said. There were many wars in the past, most of them without or with minimal chiss presence. They joined forces with others to avert some of the worst dangers from in and outside of this galaxy. Elim thought for a moment. "I am pretty sure I don't have any friends there..." or... anywhere, really. "But if needed I can contact local chiss security forces, they probably know about our mission by now..." he pointed. Chiss liked to be organised...

"Every war is a terrible war, the next one worse than the last. Least that is how the governments wish it to seem." He shrugged at Elim. "But true, things seem to be getting better...kinda." Ashen made motions indicating something to the effect of representing what he meant as the whole galaxy. "I doubt it will get better enough to return back to how it was. Things have changed, and majorly. Least you guys are not running around about Jedi...a lot of crazy people spatting prophecies on mystical beings. Crazy talk." He finished.

"Nothing is ever the way it was... everything is changing. Yet it ended up feeling the same after a while... and wars where and will be..." hopefully the Ascendancy will be lucky enough to avoid them. They cared little about problems of the Core and most didn't care about the Unknown regions. The ship came from the hyperspace above the planet. There was a presence of 3rd fleet, which was sight to behold. The Warden was a good ship, but it was a patrol carrier, 3rd fleet was much more impressive, though there were no big battleships... "Hmmm... what would we call this ship?" he ask. He would need to report their arrival after all...

If things ever went back to how they were, Ashen was sure more wars would break out. That was how the galaxy worked. "Eh, I could care less about the galaxy's problems really. I make a living off it's people." He shook his head in the concept of his past idea of joining the Chiss. It would never happen, his impression to them was minor criminal at best. "As for a name? How about..." Ashen took his hand to his chin to think. "Delta 93?" He said. Ashen realized he was just as terrible at ship names as he was at his own made up codenames.

Elim shrugged. He didn't quite care about the name of a ship he will soon return to the Ascendancy. "Fleet control, this is a private supply shuttle Delta 93, requesting permission to land on the surface, access code: 93k-blue." he stated. After a moment of silence a voice responded. "This is fleet control, what is the purpose of your visit?" the voice sounded quite official. "Simple trade negotiations..." he answered. "How long do you expect your visit to take?" the voice responded again. "Hopefully less then a day... two at most." Elim said. "You are cleared to land at provided coordinates, prepare to submit to a control..." the voice finished. Elim turned to Ashen. "That went surprisingly well... just be careful what you say to the boarding control..." he warned him. Chiss could be very tricky...

"I think it would probably be best if I just kept silent up until I am needed or talked to. I cant say I want another guest's experience with you guys." Ashen said as he patted the Chiss' shoulder. "You lead the way for a little while." He was certain he was older by a few years, but the Chiss were very different than humans, and Elim was much better suited for this. "Trading.." Ashen whispered. It was a funny thing to think, Chiss trading.

"You aren't letting that go, are you? I think the slavers would wish getting as warm of a welcome as you got..." the young chiss pointed. The ship was a bit bumpy as it came down the atmosphere, but no alarm went off, chiss did do a good job with this ship. "I don't know... we are visiting your ... business partner. You should probably take the lead. I will keep the chiss of our back if needed. I might be a cadet, but I am still from one of the ruling families. You can call me Elim, since we don't use our "core" names in the Ascendancy, nobody will recognise that..." he said as the ship was landing at the starport...
